Professional crafted duduk reed of medium gravity. Reed made from cane grows plentifully along the Arax River in Armenia, one of the best varieties. It has three components: the reed itself, the regulator and the cap. All the duduk reeds of this master have velvety not itchy sound. Side parts of each of the reeds glued with a special leather (Chevro), which gives them the opportunity not to crack and long to serve.
The better the cane, the easier it is to sound, more possibilities in working with overtones and the longer it will serve you.
After playing the instrument, the reed should be pulled out of the tube, loosen the regulator on it. Put on the cap and allow it to dry out. Recommended to store reeds in trunks or cases. Keep the reed in a package that does not retain moisture.
In conclusion, the better you take the reed, the easier the sound is, the more possibilities you have in working with overtones, and the longer it will last for you. Above all, no matter how strange it may seem, but given the service life, expensive reeds in the end are cheaper.
