The spice grinder is beautiful. I love that it looks antique. It’s true that the handle is more modern-looking but I don’t really notice it. When I handle it, I pick it up by the bottom so I don’t have trouble with the base coming off (I have to remove it anyway to use it). nn(note: if you order this, the handle will be tucked inside for wrapping purposes, so open the top of the grinder to find it) nnWe are very pleased with it and how it adds charm to our kitchen and dining table. nnThank you Anahit ^_^
